ALUMINUM WIRE CAN BE DEADLY

Aluminum wiring has been responsible for the deaths of many people who had no idea they were in danger.

The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission has determined that homes wired with aluminum wire are 55 times more likely to have one or more connections reach "Fire Hazard Conditions" than homes wired with copper wire.

Protect your family, home and property

If you have aluminum wiring in your home, have it repaired by a contractor who is licensed, experienced, and certified to work on aluminum wire problems using methods recommended by the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission. Do not trust your home and family to an inexperienced contractor. This is defiantly not an armature or do it yourself problem.

1st Electric can permanently repair aluminum wiring used in homes built from 1965 to sometime in the mid to late 1970's.

Please learn everything you can about this problem and have it repaired as soon as possible.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is charged with protecting the public from unreasonable risks of serious injury or death. The CPSC is committed to protecting consumers and families from products that pose a fire, electrical, chemical, or mechanical hazard or can injure children. The only bias the CPSC has is for your safety. They have done extensive research and testing on the problems with aluminum wiring and the methods used to correct these problems.
